Humorous autobiographical account titled "What some daddies did in the war", describing his enlistment in the second AIF, posting to Malaya, outbreak of war with Japan, the defence of Malaya and later Java, captivity including work with 'A' Force on the Burma-Thailand railway, transfer to Japan and work in the hospital at Omutu.
