Abraham, Ron (Corporal)
Description
Letter written by Cpt Abraham at sea and finished at Darwin in February 1942, describing a battle between Japanese aircraft and a Australian-American convoy, and a later air raid on the unit's camp in the Darwin area. His awareness of Australia's precarious position is evident, as is his concern for his family then living at Cairns.
