Description
Collection of 448266 Private Manfred Bohn relating to his service in Vietnam. It includes letters to fiancee, Lyn, containing frequent messages of love, also one letter from his mother. Bohn's letters illustrate his religious convictions (and include prayers for peace), and mention operations and duties at Nui Dat, Bien Hoa, and Vung Tau. They also mention Hoa Long ambushes, purchase of electrical goods, and wedding plans.
