Baria, South Vietnam. October 1970. Housing blocks like these are being built by Australian engineers in Phuoc Tuy Province. Fifty buildings, each with ten home units, are planned to provide married quarters for Regional Force soldiers and their families. Many of these people live in hovels made of old packing cases, sheets of flattened out beer cans and salvaged junk. The project is one of the most ambitious attempted in the Province.
