India. c. 1945. Air Marshal W. A. Coryton CB MVO DFC, Air Marshal Commanding RAF Burma (left), greets the Governor of Bengal, R. G. Casey, when he visited the RAF Wing Headquarters of a Photographic Reconnaissance Unit near Calcutta. Mosquito aircraft of this unit had been used to take low-level aerial photographs of Calcutta's condemned slum areas in response to a special request made by Mr Casey.
