Clark, Cyril Frederick Robert (Flying Officer)
Thirty-six page typed manuscript titled: "211 Squadron RAF, Greece,1940-1941", written by C F R Clark, compiled by D R Clark (son). Flying Officer Cyril Frederick Robert Clark was posted to 211 Squadron RAF as an Observer in September 1940, in the Western Desert of North Africa; the squadron later moving to Greece. The manuscript shows all aircrew posted to 211 Squadron in Greece from November 1940 to April 1941; and describes operational flights, air raids, offensive reconnaissance and escort duty, as recorded in Clark's logbook for that period. Further related information can be found in the Operations Record Book, Headquarters, British Air Force in Greece, April 1941; and the Operation Record Book, 211 Squadron RAF, September 1940-June 1941. Both these sources are located at the Public Records Office in the United Kingdom.
