History / Summary
Awarded to 3/400353 Corporal Thomas John Jubb, 1 Platoon, A Company, 3 Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. Born on 17 February 1931 at Hexham, Victoria, Jubb enlisted in 1951 and served in Korea from 1952-53. He was awarded the Military Medal 'for great bravery in reorganising the patrol and evacuating the wounded while under heavy enemy fire' during an engagement with Communist Chinese Forces on the night of 12 July 1952 at Hill 115, east of the Samichon River in the Jamestown Line Area. Jubb was discharged from the army in 1953.
