Description
South Vietnam. May, 1971. Private (Pte) Bob Peoples of Ballarat, Vic, cautiously crawls through the jungle. Pte Peoples is a forward scout with C company, 2RAR /NZ (ANZAC) (The ANZAC Battalion comprising 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and a component from the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment). Together with other members of his Company, he took part in 2RAR's final operation in South Vietnam. The battalion was to return to Australia later this month after completing a twelve month tour of duty.
