Description
Mixed collection of correspondence, speeches, personal papers, newscuttings, reports and official papers covering Air Vice-Marshal Townsend's long Royal Australian Air Force career and later public service with the Royal Air Force Escaping Society, the Cook Society and the Australia - Britain Society. Also contains his submission to the Royal Commission on British nuclear tests in Australia.
