Description
Two exercise notebooks kept by Signaller Lamerton (3073) while attending the 'E' Group Signalling School at Lark Hill in England. The notes were taken in July and August of 1917, and show a great deal of detail, including extensive notes, diagrams and drawings. Covers a wide variety of signalling equipment including lamps, telephones, Morse key, heliographs, rockets and wireless. Also covers a variety of less sophisticated signalling techniques. Both books fully indexed. Includes photograph of Lamerton.
