Description
Studio portrait of 1262 Private (Pte) William James Dedrick, 10th Reinforcements, 8th Light Horse, of Ascot Vale, Vic. Pte Dedrick is wearing sergeant's stripes and may have been appointed as a temporary Sergeant. He embarked aboard HMAT Ballarat in Melbourne on 9 September 1915. He returned to Australia as a member of the 11th Field Artillery Brigade on 4 January 1919.
