A group of unidentified Australian soldiers, suffering from the effects of gas, gathered at the Regimental Aid Post (RAP) of the 42nd Battalion awaiting medical attention. The post was built into a bank near the railway station and the entrance covered with tarpaulins. Note a wheeled stretcher in the foreground (right).
