Description
Five diaries written during 1917-1919 by Sapper Hugh McDonald (17075 ) while serving with 10th and 4th Divisional Signal Companies in the First World War. Other items in the collection include typed transcripts of diaries, including copies of photographs and certificates. The photographs include an individual studio photo of McDonald in uniform and a group photograph of the 12th Brigade Signals Section, Pissey Chateau, France - October, 1918.
