Description
Papers of the Adamson family relating to the First and Second World War. 3678 Sergeant Charles Edward Adamson served with the 5th Battalion during the First World War and kept diaries for 1916-1917 with brief entries describing fighting conditions on the Somme. Other papers include service documents, pay books and menus. VX148425 Corporal Norman Edward James Adamson served with the 1st Australian Mobile Printing Unit at Bougainville during the Second World War and items in the collection include a christmas card, war savings stamps and record of anti-gas training, 18 December 1942.
