Description
Papers relating to 5540 Private Roy T Brewer who served with the 19 Battalion in France during the First World War. The collection consists of diaries, letters, photographs, postcards and medal citations, chiefly 1916-1918. Included are papers relating to Brewer's award of the Military Medal for action at Mont St Quentin in 1918. Correspondents include Brewer's parents, Frank and Martha Brewer and sister Elsie Brewer.
