Description
Collection relating to 121 Private Hunter Gibson, 4 Battalion. Collection consists of a typed copy of a diary he kept from 17 August 1914 to 14 March 1915. It documents in detail his initial training at Randwick Barracks, troopship voyage on SS Euripides and training at Mena Camp, Egypt. Another diary kept from 15 March 1915 to 16 March 1916 is held by the State Library of NSW.
