Fisher, Cecil (b.1933 - d.2009)
Description
Collection relating to the Korean War service of 12599 Private Cecil Fisher. Collection consists of copies of three poems: "Black Anzac", written in commemoration of all Aboriginal servicemen who have fought for Australia, "Anzac Day - Living With Granny (Cherbourg)" and "Black Digger Stand Tall (Anzac Day 1993)". Also included is a letter listing Aboriginal and Islander soldiers and another letter describing experiences before, during and after active service in Korea.
