God Be With You Till We Meet Again
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features a shield composed of the Union Jack surrounded by the French, Russian, Serbian, Japanese Ensign, Italian and Belgian flags. A small card insert features the message "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home", illustrated with yellow and pink flowers.
