Remember
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features a basket of red, white and blue flowers surrounded by the Red Ensign, Russian, French and Italian flags. Underneath is a red banner within which is embroidered the message "Remember" and on either side is a flagpole bearing the Union Jack. A small card insert features the message "To my dear sister", illustrated with a picture of a lane leading to a house.
