Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope design with a large purple flower in the centre. Three small blue flowers appear on either side of this flower. A small card insert features the message "To my dear Mother", illustrated with an image of a dog holding a cane basket of flowers in its mouth.
