Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features a large shield composed of the Union Jack surrounded by a sprig of holly and blue forget-me-nots. Two smaller shields featuring the French flag and the Red Ensign also appear in the design. A small card insert features the message "I'm thinking of you", illustrated with Allied flags.
