Turkish 75 mm Artillery Fuze
Description
Turkish impact fuze made from brass and resembling German 75 mm artillery fuze. The fuze has Turkish markings and time setter graduations engraved at the base of the timing rings. There is some impact damage to the fuze structure. Slight deterioration of the brass has occurred. The fuze is left in the brass finish and has a steel ring collar.
History / Summary
This fuze was collected by Sergeant D Mortimer, 14th Battalion Australian Infantry Force at Gallipoli in 1915.
