Remembrance
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard has an envelope design and features a large purple pansy in the centre. An intricate design radiates outwards to form leaves. The word "Remembrance" is centred between two smaller purple flowers. A small card insert incorporates the message "With Kindest Regards", and an image of a young woman holding a basket of flowers.
