Oivi-Gorari

One of seven subsidiary honours to 'Kokoda Trail', awarded for participation in the fighting to secure the strongly-defended Japanese rearguard positions at Oivi and Gorari during the Australian advance forward from Kokoda. These positions were the last major Japanese strongpoints forward of the Kumusi River.
