Carved wooden plaque with an image of Britannia : Changi Prisoner of War camp
Description
Wooden plaque featuring an image of seated Britannia carved in relief with shield, trident and olive branch. The plaque is rounded at the top and square at the bottom, with a wedge shaped tongue projecting from its lower edge. A small accompanying typed paper label reads : 'MADE BY A BRITISH SOLDIER IN CHANGI JAIL SINGAPORE'.
