  2. From the Shadows: Australia’s Special Forces

    18 October 2017 - 08 September 2018

Their activities are secret. Their missions are classified. Their identities are protected. Developed in partnership with Special Operations Command, this exhibition casts a rare light on Australia's Special Forces.

  3. A Matter of Trust: Dayaks & Z Special Unit Operatives in Borneo 1945

    12 April 2018 - 16 September 2018

During the war Australia trained and deployed special agents throughout the Pacific and Asia to work behind enemy lines on a variety of missions to gain intelligence and disrupt the enemy. This exhibition explores the work of Z Special Unit operatives in Borneo and the relationships developed between the members of Z Special Unit and the indigenous, especially Dayak, populations.
