Donations & Bequests

There are several ways individuals and organisations can support the Australian War Memorial. Financial contributions are welcomed to support the work of the Memorial. Find out more about how you can help us tell the story of the men and women who protect and act on behalf of our nation.

Donate today

Help us tell their stories for generations to come by making a financial donation today. Your generous donation will contribute to keeping the spirit alive for future generations by preserving and commemorating the Australian experience of war.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible.

The Giving Campaign

The Giving Campaign is a new fundraising initiative for businesses and individuals looking to make a significant impact on the future of the Memorial. Donations to the campaign will allow the Memorial to look beyond core activities and explore exciting new ways to educate and inspire visitors.

Corporate partnership

The Australian War Memorial offers corporate partnership to like-minded organisations who want to be part of the Memorial and honour those who serve our nation. Partners are offered a range of opportunities and benefits that are individually tailored for mutual benefit.

Bequests support the creation of long-term financial security for the Australian War Memorial, allowing us to plan ahead and confidently pursue our vision for the benefit of all Australians now and in the future.

Donate items to the National Collection

Donating personal items relating to the Australian experience of war and peacekeeping – such as photographs, letters, and diaries – helps us tell an important part of our national story. Unfortunately, the Memorial is unable to accept all items into the National Collection. A guide is available for those interested in donating material to the Memorial, which includes a checklist and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
