Daily Last Post Ceremony
At 4.30 pm AEST, the Memorial host a Last Post Ceremony in the Commemorative Courtyard. Each ceremony shares the story behind one of the names on the Roll of Honour.
National Sandakan Remembrance Day Commemorative Ceremony

The National Sandakan Remembrance Day Commemorative Ceremony is coordinated alongside the Canberra Sandakan Commemoration Association and the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association.
The ceremony will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the last death march in Borneo.
This ceremony is in memory of the 1,787 Australian prisoners who lost their lives and the six Australian prisoners who survived these death marches.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Annual Bomber Command Commemorative Ceremony

Join the Bomber Command Commemorative Day Foundation and other guests in commemorating the Annual Bomber Command Commemorative Ceremony hosted by the Australian War Memorial. This year’s ceremony marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and honours those who served in Bomber Command operations.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
