Bus - Timetables - Transport Canberra (act.gov.au)
Public bus stops are located on Fairbairn Avenue and Limestone Avenue.
Taxi or ride share - Drop-off and pick-up is next to the National Servicemen's memorial on East Road.
Cycle - Bike racks are located behind Poppy’s Café and the temporary Reading Room above the P1 Visitor Carpark.
Parking
Visitor Carpark is available in the P1 Visitor Carpark underneath Poppy’s Café.
Access to the P1 Visitor Carpark is from Fairbairn Avenue.
Please note this carpark has a clearance of 2.3m.
Caravan, trailer and over-height vehicle parking
During the closure of the coach parking bay, from 1 August to late February 2024, there will be no caravan, campervan, trailer, and over-height vehicle parking available at the Memorial.
Between 1 August and mid October 2023 there will be no coach, caravan, campervan or trailer access to Treloar Crescent from the east, off Fairbairn Ave.
Coaches
Drop-off and pick-up points are available off Fairbairn Avenue (construction permitting). Booked school and tour groups, will be advised of drop-off and pick-up points as part of the booking.
Please note the coach parking bay will be fully closed from 31 July 2023 to February 2024 to allow for construction works.
Between 31 July and mid October 2023 there will be no coach access to Treloar Crescent from the east, off Fairbairn Ave.
Accessibility
Drop-off and pick-up point is located next to the National Servicemen’s memorial on East Road.
Parking bays are located underneath Poppy’s Café in the P1 Visitor Carpark.
