In June 1950, only five years after the end of the Second World War, Australia became involved in the Korean War.

The Korean War gallery explores the involvement of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and the Australian Regular Army (ARA) who served for the next three years in the defence of South Korea.

While there was limited opposition to the war, the conflict became known as “the Forgotten War” due to the little attention it received.
