Description
Sheik's Daughter a Voluntary Worker. Petra Bass, whose grandfather is Sheik Ohmafie, came over from South Africa during the coronation of King George VI and has stayed ever since. She is now a voluntary worker, serving in the East End from a mobile canteen presented by the people of Zanzibar. It is one of the hundred canteens presented by the Colonies. The image shows Petra Bass serving behind the mobile canteen in the East End.
