Description
New Britain. Leading Ace, 16348 Colonel (Col) Neel Kearby, pilot, of San Antonia, Texas, standing next to the cockpit of his aircraft. Col Kearby has shot down sixteen Japanese aircraft, mostly over Wewak. Until he was promoted he was leader of the Thunderbolt unit, known as the 'Wewak Scourgers'. His best bag in one day on his first mission over Wewak was a *kill* of six Japanese Zero aircraft.
