Description

New Guinea. Two Japanese prisoners of war (POWs), being conveyed by Jeep motor vehicles to a Casualty Clearing Station for medical treatment. The POW sitting up is a Sergeant Major who was shot through the leg, and the POW lying on the stretcher is a Corporal wounded in the thigh. They are under the control of Private E. A. MacLean of Rockhampton, Qld, and Driver A. K. Anderson of Unley, SA.
