New Guinea. A sign is unveiled and the salute taken as the last post is sounded at the opening of the memorial oval at Lae dedicated to the memory of SX24829 Corporal Ronald Charles Riley of South Australia who was accidentally killed in a jeep accident on 21 March 1944.
