Aitape, New Guinea. Private Tom Barrett of Maidstone, Vic, who has been working on the pick on the road nearby, knocks off for a cup of tea. He chose a novel seat to have it. That helmet he is sitting on, with the hole through it, once reposed on the head of a Japanese, and that 77mm anti-tank gun, against which hs is leaning, is now just another souvenir.
