Description
Yokohama, Japan. 5 September 1945. On the evening of 5 September 1945, 231 prisoners of war (POWs) were brought to Yokohama. They were immediately taken to a delousing station where they were given food, comforts, cigarettes, candy and received medical treatment when necessary.
