Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. September 1945. Captain H. J. Buchanan DSO, RAN Commander of the British Landing Force, and staff having a close up view of some of the midget submarines surrendered in the Japanese naval base of Yokosuka. These midgets were similar to those used in the attack on Sydney Harbour in June 1942.
