Korea. 1945. The editorial in the second issue of "The Seoul Times" stated: "Welcome Allied Forces in the name of 30,000,000 Korean people, we give you our most hearty thanks and welcome. Your arrival means the beginning of the end of the servitude we Koreans have endured for the last 40 years". It was published on the day of the landing of Allied Forces.
