Hobart, Tas. 1920. The battle cruiser HMS Renown tied up at Ocean Pier. During the 1920s, Australia played host to several flag showing visits from Britain and overseas navies. The Prince of Wales arrived in Australia and New Zealand on an official visit in Renown in 1920 and reviewed a fleet of thirty two ships in Port Phillip. The city of Hobart was also visited by the British ships during their time in Australian waters.
