Tripoli, Syria. June 1942. A camp of a company of railway construction workers comprising Australian officers and NCOs and Basuto NCOs and men from South Africa. They are involved in the construction of the rail links between Beirut and Tripoli which will complete the Cairo-London cross continental project.
