Description
View of the beach about 12 weeks after landing. In the foreground is the roof of No 1 Casualty Clearing Station (CCS) which moved to this position a few weeks before the landing at Suvla Bay. Traverses have been left between the bully-beef boxes for the wounded to await embarkation.
