Description

Two unidentified survivors from the SS Southland dressed in the miscellaneous garb supplied by their naval rescuers. Both were suffering from shock as the result of immersion in the Aegean Sea. The troopship Southland was torpedoed near Agistrati Island while it was carrying Australian troops to Gallipoli.
