Description
Nurses, soldiers and a male civilian standing on the steps of the YMCA, prior to leaving on an excustion to Windsor. Note the variety of hats the nurses are wearing. The nurse in the left foreground is wearing the colour patch of No 14 Australian General Hospital (AGH) in Cairo, indicating she is probably on leave. The nurse behind her is wearing a chevron on her lower sleeve denoting three years service.
