Description
Hobart, Tasmania, 1900-03-05. Men and horses of the 2nd Contingent (Tasmanian Bushmen) being loaded aboard the troopship Atlantian (A64) at the Dunn Street Pier. Equipment and saddlery are stacked in a line at lower left. Other men, possibly from the NSW Citizens Bushman's contingent who boarded at Sydney on 28 Februay 1900, are watching from the ship's rail at upper right. (Photographer V Smith).
