Turkish prisoners Tailoring Department, Ghezireh
Description
Depicts a sketch of six Turkish prisoners, wearing fezzes, two seated and sewing, three in the background, and one standing. A Red Cross report in 1917 stated that Turkish Prisoners were not forced to work although at some camps they carried out their own tailoring repairs or made objects which they were allowed to sell.
