Description
Pencil sketch, intended as a preparatory sketch for a later painting, of men from the Royal Air Force boarding the transport vesesl, HT Felix Roussel. Darige noted, "Carrying their gear & with their tropical helmets on their backs the Air Force personnel, which we transported from Tewfik to Aden, come up the forward gangplank & mingle with the Australians, one of whom can be seen to the right of the sketch".
