Night, Air operations room, HQ Milne Force
Description
Dargie noted, "Drawn during an air raid, this drawing shows the Duty Officer of the night on the lefthand side of the drawing, below him the plotting table, and to the right, a Sergeant on the telephone receives details of the course of the incoming enemy planes from the directions finders. In the foreground is the Naval Liaison Officer's desk. In the centre of the room hang yellow and red globes used to indicate either "alert" or "raid impending" or in progress".
