Anti-tank gun practice
Description
Anti-tank gun practice with the 106 Australian Tank Attack Regiment using a QF 6 pounder Gun, Fischhafen, New Guinea. In a letter home to her parents dated 9 June 1945 Nora wrote 'I have been doing a little gun practice, drawing a 6-pounder anti-tank gun and crew in action, and learning a little about the mechanisms of war. Can't get up much interest in drawing guns and machinery, but feel it a necessary part of my equipment for the job.'
