Description
Depicts Australian prisoners-of-war captured by the Japanese at Singapore, grubbing out rubber trees outside Changi Goal where they were quartered. The timber is used in the camp as firewood and for minor construction purposes. 8th Australian Division Forestry Unit, unidentified men grubbing out a tree for firewood.
