(WX8119) "Sergeant R.C Fullerton, 10 Pc, C Coy, 2/4th Australian Machine Gun Battalion was lying in the lalang, wounded, with bullets flying around. Four of his friends courageously come out into the open. [Picked] him up and carried him to safety. The Japanese apparently withheld their fire".
